About Mys Palmer| Embodiment Coach & Founder of The Slinktuary

Learning to trust myself changed everything.

I didn’t find myself. I learned how to return.

I created this work because I needed it first.

When I moved to Atlanta, life sucked out loud.

I had been hacked. I had lost almost everything. I was navigating a season where the things I had always relied on—my intelligence, my ability to achieve, my ability to figure things out—were no longer enough to make me feel grounded.

I was surviving.

But I was also disconnected from myself.

During that time, I asked myself a simple but powerful question:

"When was the last time I felt active and genuinely happy?"

The answer was dance.

I had always danced. As a child, I learned music-video choreography in my living room. I ran track, had a brief hot second as a cheerleader, and was always someone who moved when music came on.

Dance was never just something I did.

It was a language my body never forgot.

So I started exploring movement spaces around Atlanta until I found sensual movement and pole.

And something clicked.

The classes gave me technique, safety, and vocabulary. But when the music started and I had room to explore, something deeper came through.

I wasn’t creating a new version of myself.

I was rediscovering one.

For the first time in a long time, I had something that belonged completely to me.

It wasn’t helping someone else. It wasn’t paying a bill. It wasn’t proving I was smart, capable, or useful. I was doing it because I loved it.

And that made it sacred.

But movement also showed me where I was still leaving myself.

Dance taught me how to express myself freely, but it didn’t magically fix every place where I was disconnected.

I was still silencing myself in relationships. I was still staying in situations that didn’t honor me. I was still choosing what felt safe over what felt true.

Then my body spoke.

During a bodywork session, I was asked questions I had been avoiding.

Was there something I wasn’t saying?

Was I holding emotions I hadn’t allowed myself to feel?

Was my body carrying what I refused to acknowledge?

They read me like a damn book.

I realized something that changed everything:

You can be deeply connected to your body in one room and still leave yourself in another.

That was the beginning of understanding that embodiment isn’t just about how you move.

It’s about whether you trust yourself enough to listen.

Self-trust became the practice.

I have had many seasons where I thought I had finally mastered self-trust—only for life to show me another place where I was still handing my power away.

That’s the thing about being human.

There is no final/healed/ready version of you.

Life will ask you to grow.
Your desires will change.
Your body will change.
Your circumstances will change.

You will lose.
You will rebuild.
You will become.

The question is not whether you will ever disconnect from yourself.

The question is how long it takes you to return.

Self-trust is built in the small moments.

Five minutes to breathe.
Five minutes to move.
Five minutes to ask yourself what you need before automatically taking care of everyone else.

It is not built through perfection.

It is built through coming back.

Again and again.

Until returning to yourself becomes something you know how to do—even when life gets loud.

This is why I created The Slinktuary.

The body is always communicating.

Before we explain, analyze, or rationalize, we are already responding. We tighten. We soften. We brace. We reach. We release.

Our bodies are constantly telling the truth.

That is why self-trust cannot be built only in your mind.

You have to be able to feel yourself.

And that is why sensuality is so much deeper than being desirable.

Sensuality is the ability to experience your own life while you are living it.

My work combines sensual movement, embodiment, coaching, honest reflection, and deep support to help women recognize where they have abandoned themselves—and practice returning.

I am not here to help you become a more polished version of who everyone else needs you to be.

I am here to help you trust yourself more than the noise around you.

To choose yourself without requiring unanimous approval.

To experience pleasure without needing to justify it.

To let your body become more than the thing that carries your responsibilities.

The world will always give you reasons to put yourself last.

This work is your invitation to return.

Not to who you were before life got loud.

To the woman who is still here.

The woman waiting for you to choose her as deliberately as you choose everything else.

Not later.

Not next.

Now.

WHAT WE'LL BUILD TOGETHER

Reconnect with the Woman Beneath the Doing

Together, we'll uncover the places where you've learned to disconnect from yourself to succeed, keep the peace, or hold everything together. Through personalized coaching and embodied movement, you'll begin rebuilding a relationship with the one person you've spent the most time overlooking—you.

Build the Kind of Self-Trust That Changes Everything

Self-trust isn't created by thinking harder or finding the perfect answer. It's built through listening to your body, honoring what you know, and practicing the courage to choose yourself again and again. This work helps you quiet the noise so your own voice becomes the one you trust most.

Create a Life That Feels Like It Belongs to You

As your relationship with yourself changes, the way you move through your life changes too. Your decisions become clearer. Your boundaries become stronger. Your confidence becomes quieter but more certain. Instead of performing your life, you begin living it—from a place that feels deeply honest, deeply connected, and unmistakably your own.
